Tips from Hackmerced III

• We created a sponsor deck in the summer, sent it out to sponsors with personalized emails, we also reached out to alumni and asked them to nudge their employers to give something
• We created a case-study based on previous sponsors and what they got out of hackmerced
• Create a showcase of last years projects on the website, it shows students what they can do, get inspired
• Your director should never be a senior, and the next director should never be a junior. Always aim to get leadership from sophomores and freshman, juniors and seniors should be advisors to help make things whole
• When you retire, dont backseat drive, it's not your event anymore, just be there to ask questions, and add tips ofc!!
